Welcome to MarshMediaMoments_Summer 2015
In this Wiki you will find assignments and ideas. I consider myself a lifelong learner. I have taught students in grades Pre K-12. My goal and mission has been to support students and teachers as they become 21st Century users of information and technology. I believe education and research opens minds and enriches futures.
My GPS
This summer I will also be studying Women's History. I would like to create meaningful and stimulating content using strategies learned in this class. I would like for the content to be interactive and aligned with the 8th Grade Social Studies Georgia Performance Standards. I will focus on women's participation during the Revolutionary War. Ultimately I would like to have a website that supports and provides resources for each period.
SSH83: The student will analyze the role of Georgia in the American Revolution.
SSH84: The student will describe the impact of the events that led to the ratification of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
3 Things I want to remember after this class
a. How to explain copyright to teachers in a simple and serious way
b. How to take videos/pictures to develop professional learning resources
c. How to design curriculum that can be used with blended instruction
Ode to Librarians - a student MUST SEE!
